EVO Japan has offered free admission and free registration except for the final day, but we have decided to charge a fee for the 2024 tournament.
This is necessary to continue running Japan's largest esports tournament and provide more attractive content and higher quality competitive experience.
EVO Japan will continue to support and stay connected with the fighting gaming community.
EVO Japan will make every effort to make EVO Japan a prestigious fighting game festival that is exciting to watch, an introduction to a variety of fighting games, and a ground where everyone is worthy to fight with pride.
EVO Japan 2024 is an open tournament open to all, but to comply with the Act on Control and Improvement of Amusement Business and other laws and regulations, EVO Japan 2024 has been certified as compliant in accordance with the “Guidelines for an entry-fee-charged competition” of Japan esports Union (JeSU).
Therefore, the maximum number of entries for the Qualifying Tournament was set for each title. Although the maximum number of entries was set by considering the number of entries in EVO 2023 and EVO Japan 2023 held last year and other past competitions, the entry will be closed if the number of entries reaches the maximum.

(2) You can register for the tournament by entering the ""Entry Code"" on the EVO Japan 2024 event page on "start.gg".
You can register for multiple titles with a single "Entry Code".
The "Entry Code" will be given by e-mail to those who purchase from overseas.

Admission is charged for all days. Please purchase an "Admission Ticket" if you only wish to visit the venue and watch the tournament.

*Player tickets or Admission tickets are required to enter the venue.
*Please note that an Admission ticket will not grant you register for the tournament. If you purchase an admission ticket by mistake, please be aware that we cannot exchange it for a Player ticket or offer any refunds. To participate in the main tournament, you must purchase a player ticket.
*Ticket sales will only be used to cover the cost of EVO Japan 2024 venue rental fees and other tournament setup costs. They will not be used for prize money.
