EVO Japan 2024 Executive Committee is dedicated to providing stable and seamless tournament operations in the event of transitioning to a charged event.
We are pleased to announce that Yasuaki Matsuda, Head of Universal Gravity, who has been involved in all EVO Japan operations since the first EVO Japan in 2018, has been appointed as the chief of the tournament operation.
He will be responsible for the smooth operation of the tournament and will oversee tournament operations.
EVO Japan will also ask Mr. Matsuda to represent and listen to the fighting game community.
As one of the founders of the legendary fighting game event "Tougeki," Mr. Matsuda has been involved in competitive scenes since before the term "e-sports" was coined.
He continues to play an active role in various operations to this day, and together, we will build a system that allows players to participate comfortably and safely.
